Hallucinations of wistful love

Through the veil of grey and silver,
Tables and chairs, and the jagged mirror
Mourn, as edges soften welcoming,
Wistful and lavender- the dark room.

Into my body, Music pours
Dousing my soul with love and lust;
Thin blankets 'neath and over
Cool my warm body, salving strange sores.

Him, smells the breath
Chafed, love-scented,
Rain, like on sunburnt earth
Evanishing heat, hissing hush.

Closed, dark and tremulous
Him, the sad eyes hallucinate,
With green unconsumed eyes
His heart complains, celebrates.

Cupid's bow trembles
Below the billowing air,
Kissing; Love never tasted,
Salt, sweet and despair.

Entwined bodies, dissolved in likeness,
Glow of the naked skin.
The roaring thunder, the blinking sky
O Love, where have you been?
